A must have for all Tex-mex dishes, Fajita can also be served as a salad. Fajita can be made from various meats, but here I have a vegetarian version of it.
Made from fresh Onions and Peppers, the Fajita can be made colorful by adding colored peppers to give it a fresh look! A recipe that requires minimal ingredients, this salad can be stirred up in a jiffy!
Ingredients
1-2 garlic cloves
1 Onion
1 Pepper
Dried Oregano leaves
Butter
Salt
Lime Juice
Method
Slice Onion into thin strips. Remove the stems and seeds from the Pepper and slice it thinly. Mince garlic into small pieces. Heat butter in a pan, Sauté garlic till it is brown, add onion and pepper. Ensure that the onions and peppers remain crisp.
Turn down the heat, sprinkle salt, oregano and lime juice. Fajita is ready!
