Homemade Tuna with Thermomix

Here's the homemade tuna recipe with Thermomix, an easy and unmistakable thermomix recipe for making your own canned tuna. These homemade preserves are delicious, and much cheaper than those of the trade.






Ingredients:

  • 1 kg fresh tuna

  • 1 zest of lemon

  • 4 bay leaves

  • 1 bouquet of thyme

  • 1 bouquet of marjoram

  • olive oil

  • salt

Thermomix preparation:

Arrange the thyme, bay leaf, marjoram and lemon peel in the varoma, then put the tuna on top.

Then pour 1500 g of water and 1 teaspoon of salt into the thermomix bowl.

Insert the varoma then set 40 minutes varoma to speed 2.

At the ringtone turn the tone and then set another 30 minutes varoma at speed 2.

Once cooked, wrap the tuna in a clean towel and allow to dry for about 12 hours.


Then cut the tuna into slices and pieces.

Put the pieces of tuna in sterilized jars then pour the olive oil and close the jars.

Let stand for about 15 days before eating.
