Confession: I'm in love 💓
YES! I simply love, looove, LOVE acai and all the various, inspiring and oh-so beautiful creations you can whip up with it.
The first time I had one of these nutritious and super healthy bowls was on vacation in Kauai a few years ago.
Maybe it was the ocean breeze and the sand in my toes.
Or maybe it was simply the explosion of tropical flavors that collided with my tastebuds and hit me straight in the heart.
Either way, I fell head over heels and got hooked ever since.
Now, take a look... Ready to dig in and experience love at first bite?!?
If you are not familiar with it, acai is a South American palm tree that makes small purple berries. These berries are little treasures filled with antioxidants, fibers, protein and healthy fats.
To make an acai smoothie, you can buy frozen acai puree' and blend it with your favorite fruit. To keep it all cold and dense, it's best to use frozen fruit (banana and blueberries or raspberries are my favorites).
Blend, pour, top it with fruit, granola, nuts, seeds ... the options are unlimited!
And devour as fast as you can.
I got my acai puree' delivered this morning straight to my door (for free!) by MilkAndEggs.
