Chocolate Shortbread Chocolate Covered with Thermomix





Here's the recipe for chocolate-covered Easter Shortbread with Thermomix, tasty little egg-shaped cookies, vanilla scented and chocolate-coated, easy and quick to prepare at Thermomix. You can make these shortbread all year long, just change the shape.






Ingredients:

  • 250g of flour

  • 125 g cold butter

  • 100 g caster sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 300 g of chocolate

  • pearl sugar

Thermomix preparation:

Put the butter in pieces and the sugar in the thermomix bowl and mix for 10 seconds at speed 4.

Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix another 10 seconds at speed 4.

Then add flour, baking powder and mix for 20 seconds at speed 6 then 1 minute on the cob.

Form a ball of dough then wrap in a cling film and cool for about 30 minutes.


Spread the dough to a thickness of 5 mm and then cut biscuits using an egg-shaped cookie cutter.

Then put them on a plate lined with parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the cookies for about 12 to 14 minutes.

Then remove the cookies and let them cool on a wire rack.


Meanwhile put in the thermomix bowl, the chocolate and mix for 10 seconds at speed 10 then set 4 minutes at 50 ° at speed 2.

Dip the cookies in the chocolate and sprinkle them with pearl sugar.

Let the chocolate harden for 1 hour then enjoy.
